NCF continued to grow and become the largest hands free car kit installation company in Europe. TCG has established this position for over 10 years and has expanded to cover a range of associated services to more than 100,000 customers per annum, completing our 1,000,000th installation in December 2004

TCG are also founder members of the FCS Silver Award Scheme promoting high quality standards throughout the industry and are VSIB approved; an industry requirement to install CAT 5 high security products. TCG have established such a successful Installation business that a substantial number of the engineering workforce have opted to purchase Chameleon Franchises forming the franchising arm of the Chameleon Group.

In order to support continuing growth in the market place, TCG purchased one of the UK’s leading specialist suppliers of hands free car kit solutions. TCG are now considered one the largest suppliers of hands free car kits in the country. In addition to handsfree car kits TCG can supply a host of ancillary equipment including a range of antennae, non damaging installation brackets and audio integration leads. With the advent of legislation in 2004 relating to the use of mobile phones in vehicles, the importance of compliant high quality hands free solutions has never been more important.

With in car communication and entertainment systems becoming ever more fashionable, another of Chameleon’s acquisitions specialises in in-car audio, security, gps satellite navigation and entertainment systems making Motor Media ® even more accessible.

Recently Chameleon has expanded dramatically entering into new ventures and new market sectors; one of TCG’s more exciting new enterprises has involved the launch of Chameleon Asset Tracking. Through a unique bureau service or self managed IT portal services, on line vehicle tracking and a full range of vehicle activity reports, Chameleon Asset Track gives both the small and the large business the ability to improve their fleet management for their company fleet vehicles.
