Bury CC-9060 / CV-9040 Phonebook Problems

If you own either of the above kits and you can’t get the phonebook of your handset to show on the device then you can try the following:

First - Go to Settings - Device - Phonebook Options - Sync Phone Book. This option will try and ’suck’ the numbers from the handset for you.

Secondly - You can often ‘push’ the phonebook of the phone across manually to do this ensure you are connected to the kit and have been for at least 3 minutes. Then on the handset ‘Mark / Select’ all of your contacts and then options Send - Via Bluetooth - ‘Bury Kit’ and the phonebook should be sent and saved in the unit against that handset. The handset does need version 2 of bluetooth to do this as 2 active connections run together during the transfer but most handsets do have this these days.

If you find some names have transferred to the unit but there isn’t a phone number attached to it then you may find you have a contact photo attached to that person. You will need to delete this and resync the phonebook.
